Juice Reboot 2012!

So like a lot of people I saw the documentary "Fat Sick and Nearly Dead" by Joe Cross and I was inspired to do a juice reboot of my own. First off -- I have been heavy all of my life and I have tried various ways of dealing with it - but now it has gotten out of control!

I recently weighed myself and discovered that I had at least one pound for each degree of the compass - and I was shocked and disgusted. Now that the holidays are over and the Superbowl is done I am taking drastic action.

On February 11th, 2012 I started a 10-day juice reboot like the one that Joe started with in the film. It has now been more than 48 hours since I have eaten solid food and I have to say I was worried this would be much harder.

It has helped that I have the help and support of two good friends Ginny and Steve. They have graciously allowed me to stay with them for the first 10 days to get acclimated to my new diet and provide support. I also took 5 days off from work so that I can adjust to this new style of life.

So far I feel great and while my body lets me know when it's time to juice again i can't say there is any real discomfort at all. I'll be posting more as I go so stay tuned for the results. Also, you can find out more at the Join The Reboot website.
